   Well, I didn't used to be a greybeard, but lately I've noticed a few grey hairs   
   mixed in with the rest on my chin.  My hair, however has been mostly gone for   
   near a decade now.   
      
   My first computing experience was with a hand-me-down Atari 800 with 810 Floppy   
   drive about 1986 or so, then the ubiquitious 1980's Apple II lab in school.   
      
   Sadly my undergrad work was done all in JAVA, as that was the fad at the time.   
   And such a short fad it was.  My year was the first year they switched the   
   program from C to JAVA.  The year after I graduated, they switched from JAVA to   
   a mix of python and C....oh well.   
      
   Looking around my computer room in a clockwise direction, the WORKING machines   
   are:   
   Person DECstation 5000/25   
   Apple IIgs   
   128k Macintosh (Feb '84 build date)   
   VAXServer 3100   
   Pentium 233 Windows 98 Beige Box   
   Macintosh IIci   
   Atari 800   
   Apple IIe / Alpha Syntauri Synth   
   IBM 5155 Personal Portable Computer   
   AT&T PC-6300   
      
   This doesn't count the half dozen or so major things that are awaiting repairs:   
   Sun 3/260 (Big VME chassis)   
   PDP 11/23 in a short rack with 2 RL01 Drives   
   Tandy 16 running Microsoft Xenix (Yes, Microsoft used to sell a unix!)   
   Heathkit H89 (Bad component in the Video Circuit)   
   DecWriter III
