My newsgrouper.org site runs on a server in my home, proxied through
Cloudflare on their free tier (I only had to pay for the domain
registration). I run their tunnel daemon process on my server which
connects out to their servers and then relays my website traffic. This
means I don't need to open *any* incoming ports on my router. So this
adds a layer of protection from some of the nasties on the net.

They also do caching of web pages, but that's less relevant to me since
most of my content is dynamically generated and so not cacheable.
