|    Hackers Play fair...WARNING: USENET SECU    |
|    10 Dec 03 14:45:18    |
XPost: alt.religion.kibology, alt.webtrance, alt.slack       XPost: alt.memetics, alt.society.zeitgeist, alt.config       XPost: alt.culture.usenet, alt.cyberpunk       From: schwann@noit!dontspamme!%webtrance.co.za#              I see that I must've really hit some buttons with Kaevins teaching       disorder because someone has hacked Usenet into publishing me only under       the Salvinia header, which is not entirely a bad thing:) However, some       of you may be uneasy about the fact that it 'is' possible for the       unscrupulous and morally bankrupt to do this to someone they don't like.       So what we have here is not just a situation of schwann vs. the rest,       it's really a situation where a netizen's inalienable rights and       personal freedom of expression on usenet have been compromised by a       person, or group of people, that put themselves above the rest.       According to both written and unwritten usenet law, you can say anything       you like to anybody, so long as you don't threaten them with any harm in       the physical world, but these cads take things one step further, one       huge step backwards for mankind. To the coder that did this: You're not       classed as a hacker. Hackers don't act in an uncool manner. You yearn       for nostalgia, of the time when you stood out from the rest. But times       have changed and left you behind. You have broken the code and are now       of a lower order than a deleted kill-file that once existed beneath the       TCP/IP stack in 1993. This act is the equivalent of forging my name and       writing slander, and it is a criminal act.              In any event, I wont post more than 'test messages' until this person,       or group of persons, find the necessary strength to continue being       human.              To all the true hackers out there, "Honour the code - Keep the Faith"              schwann cybershaman       www.webtrance.co.za (psst..hey, over here...why don't you hack 'this'       site next?)              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
