   Terri died more than a decade ago.  What was left was a small set of   
   reflexes no different in kind from the reflexes you can get out of a severed   
   frog's leg.  Terri, poor kid, died long ago.   
      
   The fact that we can keep organs going and systems operating is NOT the   
   definition of life.  Terri made her wishes concerning her life known to her   
   friends and her husband.  Your protestationsare a bit obscene in the light   
   of everything this country is doing to ignore the health and safety of the   
   living.
