   A 737-800 has 162 seats in a twoclass layout /126 passengers leaving 36
unused seats. Not all of these used in the back.

The back absorbed only part of the energy released from the drop. Areal
films clearly show the patch where first contact was made and the trail of
   the debris started.

   > 3. The pilots in the front of the plane were crushed by a control panel

Where is the front landing gear? Well lying about in the field if you
remember what you saw. It snapped off which means the cockpit compartment
was weakened. Then the impetus of the sudden stop lauched everything from
suitcases to some of the seats and people on them forwards. The backwall of
   the cockpit failed.

   > Especially 3 contradicts your posting a bit... which is kinda odd.

Just theory. The investigation is ongoing.
