The birds, cheap on fuel? The plane stalled, fell out of the sky,
tail-first causing added momentum to the rest of the aircraft, which
compares to slamming a hinged door. The forces snapping off the tail killed
passengers in the back. The landing gear got slammed deeply into a freshly
plowed field which has a high clay content and was wet. The second and
forward momentum consequently dissipated way too fast, breaking up the plane
and causing widespread spinal injury in general and causing more of the
heavily injured to be situated in the front of the plane. The hinging
momentum caused the three pilots to be crushed to death as the front landing
gear compressed the cockpit before breaking off. No fire was the only matter
that saved a lot of passsengers' lives.
