   New Delhi: Senior IAS officer Ravinder Kumar Jain was   
   on Thursday appointed as Secretary of the National   
   Disaster Management Authority (NDMA). Jain, a 1981 batch   
   IAS officer of Himachal Pradesh cadre, is working as   
   Additional Secretary in Ministry of Health and Family   
   Welfare.
