   home, late that afternoon, we were both pretty much exhausted.  As I   
   dropped her off at her house, her dad came out to say hi.  "Did you have a   
   good time, Laura?" he said, tousling her hair.  I held my breath...  Laura   
   replied, "Yes, daddy, we had a wonderful time!" She looked over at me.   
   "Maybe we could do it again, someday?"   
      
       Thus began the most interesting affair I've ever had...
