   As she was leaving, I asked Sandi whether she'd like to go for a drink   
   sometime.  She gave me a quick flash of the switchblade she carried in   
   her pocket, and told me that if I ever went near her I'd be singing   
   soprano for the rest of my life.  Fair enough, she was out of my   
   league, but a guy's got to have aspirations.
