XPost: alt.niggers, talk.politics.guns, pa.politics       XPost: sac.politics       From: nigger-lovers@disney.com              PITTSBURGH —       A 29-year-old Pittsburgh woman has been arrested and charged       with attempting to kill two of her children, ages 3 and 7, by       stabbing them Friday morning in Pittsburgh's Hill District       neighborhood, police said.              Watch the report from the Hill District: Click the video player       above.              Police said 29-year-old Sydnie Jefferson has been charged with       two counts of aggravated assault, two counts of criminal       attempted homicide, two counts of endangering the welfare of       children and two counts of recklessly endangering another person.              Defense attorney Blaine Jones confirmed he was representing the       mother as he arrived at Pittsburgh police headquarters Friday       evening. Jones said mental health evaluations are the next step.              "I can tell you that Sydnie has the support of her family.       That's why I'm here, because they obtained my office," Jones       said. "I don't want to put the cart before the horse, because I       don't know what the evaluations necessarily yield. Once we get       those evaluations, we'll make a deliberate decision in terms of       what we need to do next."              The two children were stabbed in their home on Dinwiddie Street       in the Crawford-Roberts section of Pittsburgh's Hill District       neighborhood.              The father of the 3-year-old scooped him up in his arms, and ran       for help for both children.              School bus van driver, Glenn Ramsey, says he was waiting to pick       up a kid when the father jumped onto the bus with the boy.              "He literally jumped on the bus with the kid (and) said, 'Please       take me to the hospital, please, I'm begging you please, my       child's going to die, he's been stabbed,'' Ramsey told       Pittsburgh's Action News 4. "I seen the kid, I was like 'wow       this is real' I just turned the van and drove straight to the       police station."              Ramsey said there were eighth-graders on the bus at the time of       the incident.              "The actions of the father probably saved the child's life, in       bringing him to the station as opposed to waiting to call       someone to respond," Pittsburgh Police Major Crimes Cmdr.       Richard Ford said at a news conference on Friday. "The officers       that are equipped with the medical knowledge and things that       they can use were able to render aid to that child as well as       the other child, which, I personally believe, based on the       information, assisted in saving both of their lives at this       time."              Daron Green, the father of the critically wounded 3-year-old,       remarked as he entered police headquarters to be interviewed by       detectives, "I'm very, very, very, very disturbed."              Around the same time, police responded to a call at a home in       the 200 block of Dinwiddie Street, where officers found a 7-year-       old boy who had also been stabbed, police said.              The boys were taken to the hospital and reported to be in       critical but stable condition.              According to court documents, Jefferson called 911 and said she       wanted to turn herself in. She was then taken to Pittsburgh       Police Headquarters for questioning.              Court documents said that during an interview, Jefferson told       police she was the mother of the two boys and told police that       she went into the boys' bedroom with a kitchen knife in the       early morning hours.              Court documents said she told police she approached her son       while he slept and stabbed him in the neck multiple times. She       then told police she turned to her second son, who was also       lying in bed and stabbed him in the neck.              Jefferson told police Green then entered the bedroom and she       struggled with him over the knife. She told police Green was       able to take the knife off her and carried one of her sons out       of the house.              Jefferson told police she then called 911, giving them her       location, and made several calls to family members, telling       them, "My boys are gone."              The sister of Green said Jefferson has struggled with mental       illness in the past.              "I used to come here and try to help her with the kids because,       she was always going through mental breakdowns and I tried to       give them as much help as I can," said Chrissy Griffin, Green's       sister. "She's been going through a depression, so I really       don't know — but I don't know what would take a person to just       wake up six in the morning and just start stabbing their kids."              Police said the boys were treated at UPMC Children's Hospital       for deep puncture wounds to the sides of the neck and the       injuries are considered life-threatening.              At last word, the children were in the hospital and their       conditions were critical but stable.              Two other children from the home, ages 2 and 4, were not stabbed       but were taken for medical evaluation.                     [continued in next message]              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
