XPost: alt.disney.disneyworld, alt.disney.disneyland, alt.disney.collecting       XPost: alt.disney.vacation-club       From: Benvolio7@comcast.aquanet              > Sinners like things the way they are, and Christians sin, but have       > regret over it; to a Christian sin never has the flavor or the control       > over them again. It isn't a recipe or a philosophy: It's a change; a       > reality. A Christian always walks out from wrong and gives good       > another try: he isn't a lost cause.              This simply isn't true. Christians sin all the time, and in addition to       that, most Christians commit the same sins over and over again, and are       still allowed to call themselves 'Christians.' Being a Christian does not       mean that we are automatically able to just ditch every sin and walk away       from it. It simply means that we follow Christ's teachings (at least, it       should... most Christians prefer the comfort of following their pastor's       teachings, which is not often the same thing as following Christ's       teachings). It's like that popular cop-out bumper sticker says, "Christians       aren't perfect, just forgiven."              Biblical definition of sinner       > means one who is a lost cause with no desire for the help of God.       >              It means going against God. Romans 3:23 says that "all have sinned and       fallen short of the glory of God." Does that really mean to say that 'all       have been lost causes with no desire for the help of God, and fallen short       of His glory?' Nope. Basically, Romans 3:"For there is no distinction; 23       since all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, 24 they are       justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption which is in Christ       Jesus,"              To try to say that Christians have the ability to just totally stop sinning       alltogether is just a lie.              I know you are going to say that I'm being anti-Christian, Voice...       something you've enjoyed doing in the past. I'm not though. I'm just       saying it as it is. Seeing as how Christians are human, that means we all       do bad things. Often times more than once.              --              ~Ben              "There I was somewhere West of Tomorrowland       Flying through the stars just like Peter Pan       I said...Damn this looks too good to be true...
