Bush, the greatest       president since George Washington". I bet they wouldn't hesitate a minute.              We in the country have free speech, you are free to set up a printing press       (or laser printer) and publish to your hearts content. That worked in the       1700's. In todays world no one would hear your voice. If the large media       companies have the ability to pick and choose what side, i.e. one side, of       any issue, we the people have lost our ability to decide for ourselves what       we want to see, what we want to learn, what positions we take on important       issues.              This is the country we are living in now, it is not the USA I grew up in and       want to live in the future.       --       Mark Jacobs       ----       "Why, of course, the people don't want war, voice or no voice, the people       can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders . . . All you have to       do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifist for lack       of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any       country."              -Hermann Goering at the Nuremberg war-crimes tribunal.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
