|    "Gerard Greeley" -- Kaldis' Troll?    |

A designer troll,       >>firing off an unfair attack -- WHAT A SURPRISE!!!       >       > Ken is castigated for resorting to ad hom attacks, and Ken responds with ...       > AN AD HOM ATTACK!               We see these "designer trolls" all the time, and it wouldn't be a bit       surprising if this one is one of yours. Chances are good the author is       being disingenuous about something -- whether he is an old poster with a       grudge against me, or someone associated with you.               The poster claims to be "Gerard Greeley." It has not been lost on me       that you claim to have been *BORN* in Greeley.               The poster has no posting history, emblematic of the designer troll.        Second, in a newsgroup where "Vox Populi" and "King Samuel" are       trading "eat shit and die" posts, it seems incongruous that any newbie       would be aiming at me -- particularly, in light of the substance-filled       posts on the Constitution I've been engaging in.               The "spam excuse" is thin -- pretty much everyone who posts has taken       corrective action a long time ago. And it's not like "Gerard Greeley"       is a common name.               Obviously, "Gerard Greeley" has an agenda. And once we all find out       what it is, substantive discussion might even take place.              > Some things never change.               Yep. "Dirty tricks" are the common currency of USENET. Cowards come       out of their holes, fire shots, and crawl back in.              >>[Ken rolls eyes]               And Ted whines about ad hominem attacks, whilst launching an ad hom       of his own. Let's see if your new advocate finds *your* gallery of       choice quotes to his liking....              Subject: Re: It Really IS About Ken Smith ...       Date: Sat, 27 Sep 2003 07:44:03 -0500       From: John Hattan |
