From: grady193@insightbb.com              Remember when Walt Disney World consisted of just the Magic Kingdom? Or at       most, the Magic Kingdom and Epcot Center (as it used to be called)? If you       remember Walt Disney World in the 1970's and 1980's, then these cd's are for       you! These are for the lover of classic Walt Disney World -- the rides, the       sounds, the intimate atmosphere... these cd's will bring back great memories       for those of us lucky enough to have visited Walt Disney World early in its       history.              Below is a list of what is on the cd's. This is 93 minutes of "very good"       to "excellent" audio recorded onto two quality cd's when you order.       (There's too much to fit on one cd!)                     1) If You Had Wings -- queue music and spiel, plus the entire ride-through              2) Space Mountain Theme -- "Here's to the Future" -- three versions, 1. RCA       version, 2. no sponsor version, and 3. instrumental version (early 70's)              3) Disney Television Channel 5 (circa 1975 or 76) -- shown in the resorts       to welcome you to Walt Disney World and introduce the park's entertainment       options. Includes discussion of golf clinics, Lake Buena Vista shopping       center, River Country musical ad              4) The Walt Disney Story's barker owl, "Hoot Gibson" -- Located just inside       the entrance to the attraction on Main Street (adjacent to the Town Square       Cafe) in the early 70's. He explains how audioanimatronics works, and tells       us to watch for him in the future at the "Western River Expedition," a park       attraction that never materialized!              5) Original Enchanted Tiki Room barker bird -- chats with passers-by and       invites you in to see the show (taped in the early 80's)              6) Peter Pan's Flight -- end segment of the ride, taped circa 1979 -- you       can hear gunfire, Capt. Hook and Mr. Smee, as well as theme music from the       ride. This was captured by a then-park employee who left a tape recorder       running somewhere near the ride's exit!              7) Pirates of the Caribbean -- theme music, barker parrot outside the       entrance, taped in the early 80's              8) GE's Carousel of Progress -- "The Best Time of Your Life" theme music,       cast member spiel and entire ride-through, taped in the early 80's              9) Haunted Mansion -- ghost host welcome spiel and entire ride-through,       including theme song              10) Horizons theme music "Urban Habitat", first takes (out-takes?), circa       1983              11) Original theme music for the Country Bear Jamboree (the 5 Bear Rugs       theme song), never used!! Main voice is the voice of Balloo the Bear!                     What WONDERFUL memories of the parks!! I know you will be thrilled! I am       selling these sets for $10 each and that includes shipping to anywhere in       the United States. I accept Paypal, money order or personal check (held for       bank clearance). Please email me with any questions or to place your order.       Order sets for your friends who are Disney fans, too! These cd's make great       gifts! Thanks!              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
