   ### - fact: ukraine wants those donbass regions (and crimea) back!   
      
   problem is, if/when they 'do' get them back, they're gonna   
   'ethnically-cleanse' all the russian-speaking people living there (which   
   is how & why this all started in the first place, remember?)   
      
   being russian-speaking people, the russians came to their rescue   
   fending-off the ukraine army and supplying them with food & water (no   
   other fucker came to help them did they?? the west certainly didn't!)   
      
   each time the ukraine army attacked they were pushed back by these   
   so-called volunteer fighters armed & supplied by russia... those donbass   
   regions now effectively being protected by russia just across the border...   
      
   when ukraine gots mad at that, they threatened to cut russia off from the   
   black sea (russia's only land access to it, which had been leased to them   
   forever by ukraine when the soviet union collapsed) thus forcing russia to   
   either annex crimea or say goodbye to it... land access to the black sea   
   being crucial to them they annexed it and made it an inviolate part of   
   russia...   
      
   they DIDN'T annex the southern donbass regions though!   
      
   but now am thinking that they WILL annex those southern regions, if only   
   to put an end to all this?   
      
   i.e., once annexed those regions will then become a part of russia, so   
   anyone attacking them will be attacking russia directly (something the   
   west has, so far, always held back from)   
      
   the west, not really offering russia a mutual solution here other than to   
   let ukraine do whatever the hell they want with the donbass regions, are   
   thus literally forcing russia's hand?   
      
   we've got it all construed that THEY are the aggressors, only that's not   
   really the truth is it! they're only there to protect all those people!   
      
   no one ELSE is offering to protect ALL those russian speaking people   
   living there!   
      
   don't be surprised then if/when russia indeed annexes those regions too?   
      
   considering the way ukraine is behaving towards those people russia   
   doesn't really have any other choice! if they step back from helping them   
   they'll all be killed!   
      
   left to their own devices russia will undoubtedly succeed in annexing   
   those regions, ukraine would then stop attacking them and the whole thing   
   would again settle down...   
      
   the question being: will the west just stand by and let this happen or not?   
      
   the west is saying: not!   
      
   war with russia directly being what we're risking should we interfere...
