   ### - at age only 16, 150 years ago a young french poet-dude (authur   
   rimbaud) was walking around paris literally observing the exact same   
   dismal shit as the above... like you he too was utterly disappointed with   
   society and just couldn't understand why we should ever choose to live in   
   such a crappy manner!   
      
   he was only a kid, so he said/stated pissed-off adolescent things like:   
   this is total shit! look, everyone's happy at christmas so why do we only   
   have christmas day once a year? this is OUR world so why not have   
   christmas EVERY day and then all be happy all the time! why make life   
   miserable for the rest of the year instead?? ...and then in another poem   
   ('bad blood') he cussed-off every accepted/respected pillar of society   
   haha: "judges, doctors, the pope, and every so-called respectable member   
   of society et-al: the light in my eye is completely different to the light   
   in your eye! so you can all basically piss-off!" (heavily paraphrased   
   hehe...)   
      
   just after he died at age 38, the french then discovered his work and   
   ironically erected a statue to what they proudly considered to possibly be   
   the greatest poet france had ever produced! one who'd apparently died at   
   age only 19, coz rimbaud had downed-tools and stopped writing altogether   
   by then but actually went on to live another 19 years in obscurity...   
      
   a genius they called him! ('the boy genius') because he'd realised, by   
   only age 16, what it would normally take a serious scholar a whole   
   lifetime, if not longer, to put together!   
      
   that in that sense rimbaud was like a briefly shining meteor flashing a   
   clear message right across humanity's sky in unmistakable technicolour! -   
   a glowing message saying: Look what we're CAPABLE of!!!   
      
   the rest of us slowcoaches lagging a long-long way behind that though   
   heh...   
      
   although it's prolly always better to be late than never huh ;)
