   i.e., instead of the 3 major powers waiting to divide-up the world AFTER   
   an all-out war for the global domination of THEIR particular ideology etc,   
   how's about these 'contending' powers/ideologies all sitting down in the   
   name of SURVIVAL, selecting the best/working bits from EACH ideology and   
   all agreeing to adopt them across the board in some kind of new universal   
   rule of law, and then just simply divide the whole world into 3 equal   
   shares/areas of equal responsibility/wealth in which we'll ALL agree to   
   transparently maintain financial equality, even compete towards that end!   
   - a big-three consortium!   
      
   global business/trade would boom like never before! as trust builds across   
   a generation or 3 wars would shrink & wmd's would disappear! the money   
   saved on maintaining armies (+ that of surplus earnings) would eventually   
   upgrade infrastructure everywhere! the UN becoming the ONLY multinational   
   force ever sent-in to overwhelm local conflicts should they arise:   
   peace-keepers by unlimited numbers, literally! all cases decided locally   
   and/or by some higher UN branch monitoring global equality & fair   
   trade/laws across all 3 states if appealed to...   
      
   it'd be a real challenge (heh) to figure/thrash out the 'best-bits' from   
   each system that forms the new global ideology for all, would likely take   
   decades for the whole world to genuinely come-around to everyone all   
   thinking along similar lines as the old slowly cedes to the new...   
      
   could even end up as a single global order!   
      
   the alternative being to just continue on the current, ultimately   
   divisive, path, until there's only one major power left...   
      
   if there's anything left at all afterwards that is...
