   Ukraine is the birthplace of the Ukrainian and Russian people.   
      
   For Russian readers of history, it raises the question: If Russia   
   started in Ukraine, why isn’t it still part of Russia? It is a   
   territory that has been fought over since time immemorial, claimed and   
   counterclaimed by invaders for millennia. Ukraine’s boundaries have   
   sometimes been determined by Ukrainians. Mostly, however, it has been   
   given its shape by those who fought each other over it. For a   
   Ukrainian, reading the history of the region provokes the question: Do   
   we belong to ourselves, or to some other world power?   
      
   What happened to Ukraine next was uncounted generations of pain, as   
   the once-great Viking nation fell into bondage under wave upon wave of   
   aggressors.   
      
      
   Brian, I'm with Ukraine.  The Russians are a hob gob of mixed races &   
   countries such as Buryatia, Dagestan, Siberia and so on and so on,   
   parts of which were taken from China (Vladivostok, for instance).   
      
   Russia was born in Kyiv.  Simple as that.  Now they want to kill the   
   parent.   
      
   You need lessons in history & logic.  You lack tremendously in both   
   yet pontificate about stuff you know nothing, or next to nothing,   
   about.  Get off your fucking tin box mate.
