From: slider@anashram.com              > nightmare planet of the pigs, oink on fuckers              ### - literally swimming up to our necks in all our own filth, and       loving it apparently! (jeez)              pigs indeed!              and yet, STILL underneath ALL that, is a forgotten humanity once proud &       strong and very capable, reduced now to inanely standing in-line for       everything including their very own lives, waiting for a life to happen       that just never appears...              (here's a note from some observant fucker on the same subject heh...)              "...Another thing I can tell you about lucid dreaming is that the steady       practice of it also eventually causes one to begin re-evaluating one’s       own life and life circumstances, in that most people have unwittingly       allowed themselves to become almost completely caught up in their       workplace and homes, their families and hobbies. So much so, that there       remains very little room left in their lives with which to explore any       of the deeper, perhaps hidden, meanings of life. Most people are so busy       and involved in their current activities that they simply haven’t got       the time left over to explore anything more meaningful, even if it is       available to them. In which case, learning to activate their innate       ability to lucid dream can also offer people a kind of second chance at       this, so to speak, and to take a look at opportunities to do so they may       have inadvertently missed.              The fact is that the intelligent and observational approach to lucid       dreaming eventually begins to carry-over into a person’s waking       awareness as well, thus presenting them with countless new opportunities       to tweak the often rigidly fixed values of their waking life in a       variety of ways. A chance they wouldn’t otherwise get under any other       circumstances, at least not until they were very much older, possibly       even retired, and had the spare time in their lives to even consider       looking at everything again.              The truth being, that it is probably better for someone to re-evaluate       their life situation while they are still young rather than waiting       until they have fulfilled all or most of their duties to their families,       friends and work in society, before finding themselves with enough free       time to be able to re-examine their lives and the way they live to any       meaningful degree.              So, why learn to lucid dream? Well, possibly because it might just       present a person with what is ultimately the opportunity of a lifetime;       a genuine chance to totally re-examine their life and the way they’re       living it. And thus an opportunity they might never otherwise get to       enrich their lives beyond measure in terms of the boost to the ‘quality’       of life they will very likely experience from that re-examination."              --from: The WILD Way To Lucid Dreaming --by slider...              ***              latest of (65) book/videos 'reviews'              Freditorials Commented On The Midway Point Video: February 5th, 2023       I'm astonished at the detailed accuracy of your descriptions. I know       them to be true from 'experience'. I've been struggling with the lucid       state in the last years after having much success earlier, but now I can       see the importance of setting aside the sleep induced methods for WILD .       You're a blessing to the dreaming community 'indeed'!              ***              ***** Helpful book on how to Lucid Dream by achieving Body Asleep-Mind       Awake state Alexandra Hopkins -Amazon US Customer Review on October 24, 2022       The book includes a lot of helpful information and it actually changed       my life. As a result of reading it, I tried his technique and am now       able to meditate during afternoon naps and for hours during the night. I       hope to stretch this out to meditating through the entire night. So, I'm       very glad that the author wrote this book! Thank you.              ***              Toren Burgos Commented In The FB Lucid Dreaming Group: 14th Oct. 2022       I've tried every strategy. If your goal is lucid dreaming there's       nothing better than Brian Aherne's method.              ***              https://www.thewildway.com/files/reviews.htm              now 7 years-on, it's still very early days but lookin' good boss ;)              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
