   oh, and my father WAS (past tense) a ('famous') irish conman, he's dead   
   now + was the first stage hypnotist in ireland by all accounts... no one   
   back in the 50's even believing stage hypnotism was real, especially in   
   naive ireland lol, so yes he became a somewhat controversial/known figure   
   in theatreland there at the time and was often called a charlatan who   
   played to packed houses because of that, and who apparently went on to   
   later help deprogram some of the survivors from the jim-jones/jonestown   
   cult...
