   Being aware of such things is really quite difficult while you're   
   dreaming. It's kinda like being really, really drunk and trying to   
   remember your phone number ,) It's good practice to try and recall such   
   things though, and perhaps do a little calculus too, in order to awaken   
   your logical mind.

   There are different stages of lucidity. Idly stating "well, this must be   
   a dream" and then going on with the dream plot is unfortunately quite   
   common and quite frustrating .)   
      
      I would expect myself to be aware as   
   > in an awake state, only without the physical limitations.   
      
   This would be pretty advanced lucidity indeed. You probably need some   
   more time to get there.
