   Completely :-)

I go through such stages as well. Unfortunately, I'm currently in a rather
   long stage of nothing special.
Suddenly it will start again - most likely when I least expect it :-)

Well, I have been closer to "the occult" than that, but I don't think it
makes any difference when it comes to lucid dreaming. Except perhaps for
coloring the content of the dream.

It comes naturally to me. Only once did I manage a reality check within a
dream. If I hadn't, I might have become lucid anyway - can't know for sure
   :-)
