   I can't believe I actually read this far.. anyway, people in this world   
   are dying of starvation. I hope you're not saying it's because they're   
   not "enlightened" enough to survive without food. Yes, a healthy   
   individual with normal body weight to begin with can fast for over a   
   month, I think David Blaine did it for 44 days straight in a controlled   
   environment. However, obsessive fasting or avoiding food because eating   
   makes you feel bad is just neurotic behavior toward food, not healthy or   
   "enlightening". Watch out, anorexia is a subtle and deadly disease.
