   Possible, but tricky. Probably easier to use a wake-induced lucid technique   
   rather than attempting to go to sleep and get lucidity to happen on command.   
   But if you've had a lot of practice with sleep lucids, then I guess you   
   could do it that way.

   I've managed that occasionally, the trick is to not return to full   
   consciousness before returning to the dream.

   Yes. Adding water to your body will dilute the body's salts for about three   
   hours, which is the time it takes the kidney to process the water out again.   
   Intuitively, reduced salt concentrations in extra-cellular fluid would slow   
   down neural activity, but I'm not aware of any research to confirm or deny   
   this.
