No, but it is very close. Rats do dream as well, much like us it
appears, just about mazes and stuff .) I'm told the two animals closest
to humans are pig and rat, when it comes to physiology.

Btw technically it wasn't a vivisection (very unethical, those things),
the rat was dead, but the brain was removed and artificially kept alive
for a limited amount of time.

For clarity's sake, I cut out the huge amount of text. Just as a general
   reply to you Ann:

Perceiving reality is all about choices. You may choose not to believe
any information others are giving you, and you may choose not to believe
any informaton your senses are giving you. You may also choose to
believe there is no objective truth out there, or you could even lapse
into solipsism and believe that everything and everybody is just your
subjective illusion. However, what you choose doesn't matter: when you
cease to exist, chances are the world will go on regardless of how you
chose to interpret your subjective reality .)

I believe the scientific method is the best tool mankind has invented so
far. It has proven practical. It is supposed to bring us closer to the
objective truth, but even if it fails, I don't see anything better
around. I'd rather use what we have.

   Cheers, KC
