   Yes awarness is one of the most precious goal... and the hardest.   
   You can practice to be aware only at certain moment of the day, at the   
   peak of your emotional reaction, the effect is two fold where it helps   
   you controle your emotion and when in the dreamland you have more   
   practice to realize that you are dreaming since dream are a lot created   
   with your dayli 'peak'. One tibetan master once said 'Get naked on a   
   cliff on a rainy day and yell out loud I WANT TO CONTROLE MY DREAM!!"   
   and you will controle your dream that night. So you can use your most   
   intense moment for that effect. But again it takes controle in the dayli   
   life to have controle on your dream world...   
      
   If you are not aware of your tought pattern you wont be able to be aware   
   during the day and if you are not able to be aware during the day you   
   wont be able to be aware during your sleep. If you can't be aware during   
   your sleep you wont be able to be aware during your death and you have a   
   whole other life to start again your practice :P   
      
   Tibetan use dream as a way to attain enlgihtment... the path of the   
   dream yoga is quite powerfull...
