   Could you elaborate a little bit on how exactly the dream journal is   
   "kicking in", i.e. working? I myself have found that a dream journal is   
   not essential for successful lucid dreaming. It probably depends on the   
   person, but I would avoid such strong statements as "one of the most   
   important parts..".
