   Several composers have based their music on dreams - both classical and   
   modern (like the Aphex Twin, for example). Comic book artist Rick Veitch has   
   brought his dreams into the waking world through his "Rare Bit Fiends"   
   books. Someone - was it Niels Bohr? - based his theory of atom structure on   
   a dream. It's fairly common for ideas to arrive in dreams, and to be used in   
   waking life.
