   I've been lurking here awhile and reading about lucid dreaming,   
   but have never experienced one myself yet.  However, last night   
   we had a terrible thunderstorm here that my wife incorporated   
   into her dream.  She suddenly realized that she was dreaming and   
   became very frustrated that she couldn't make the thunder stop.   
   I hadn't encountered this particular problem in my reading   
   before, where the waking world's incorporation in a dream   
   obviously could not be altered even in a lucid dream because it   
   came from outside.
