   On the rare occasion I have a lucid dream, I can't control it. Last night I   
   had my first lucid dream in a long time. I was walking around the desert   
   with some family and ran into some other people. Knowing at this point that   
   it was lucid, I tried changing things around to my advantage, but I couldn't   
   alter *anything*! Occasionally everything started to fade out as it does   
   when I'm about to wake up, so I'd walk around and keep my eyes open and   
   focus on some of the imagery.   
      
   What I remember most is that I was talking to this African guy, telling him   
   how I can't control my lucid dream and asking if he could help me change   
   things around. Well, he created a bathtub filled with spaghetti, but he   
   wouldn't bring me the girls I wanted because it turned out he was a   
   homosexual with his own agenda, and thus refused to bring me the females I   
   wanted for such activity. He's a *dream character*, why does he care?   
      
   I've always had this problem with lucid dreams. Fully aware I'm in a dream   
   but completely unable to manipulate the laws of physics or wills of women to   
   my advantage. Years ago I had a dream I was back in high school, and upon   
   gaining lucidity, wanted to seduce one of these girls in the hallway, but   
   they all just walked past and ignored me! But I couldn't get myself to rape   
   one of them, despite knowing it was a dream and not really happening.   
      
   So basically my lucid dreams are *just like real life*! With the occasional   
   bathtub of spaghetti in the desert.
