   no, that's interessting because I know that experience you made too from   
   first hand and this shocked me too. Multiple false awakening can be very   
   frightening. I had no trouble identifying that i was still dreaming after   
   every false awakening because I already did some dreamwork at that time but   
   I was afraid not to wake up completly anymore. I forced myself to wake up   
   complet by a powerful act of will. It worked, but it was like a catapulting   
   out and I really didnt feel well after that. Yes I had heartpounding too as   
   much as I still can remember. It was one of the two only bad experience I   
   made at the time when I was improving my lucid dreaming. But I dont want to   
   frightening anyone with such. The same experiences can be frightening or   
   enlightening for different persons. I think it dependens on the inner   
   knowledge and expections of a person.
