|    dark shadows when awakening    |
|    10 Oct 05 00:43:35    |
From: --@--.--               It's a time back when I read a strange post somewhere (i think it was on       this newsgroup) about someone seeing dark shadows disapering fast on real       awakenig. He interpreted this as big spiders or demos or anything mystical.       Never had that experience before but today I awoke and saw a dark black       shadow on my white backwall vanishing extremly fast. It looked like       something rushing away very quickly. The sun was alerady shining outside and       entered my room through the partly uncovered window. (I darken my bed room       partly only)       So the white of the wall and the drak shadow in contrast was well visible.       This shadow disappeard almost in the same moment when I saw it and this was       during opening my eyes!       Puzzeled and courious about what I just saw my mind imediatly kicked in and       started to work and helped to surpresed the very first shock moment that       wanted to make me jump off.       It took me only some seconds and 2 other eye opening tests in the same       position to realise that what I saw must have been my eyelid during the eye       opening process. In my test only 2 or 3 seconds later in the same position       as i awoke it covered exactly the same spot on the wall where I saw the       shaddow.       An opening eyelid would explain the almost instand vansihing of the shadow.       Why I could spot the eye opening process at all on this awekeing and not       already before I dont know. I guess my awarness and my physical body       (eye's/mind) just fit at that moment to make me see a shadow whereas I am       very sure now it was my eyelid.       I guess that the one that saw shadows when he or she woke up, probabily       really saw their eyelid covering a part of the view during the opening like       i did.       Thought I share this.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
