Thanks for sharing your individual power-line experiences. It's been
many years back, but I do recall having some early similar experiences
with both windows and powerlines. Of course, we are prisoners of our
fears, preconceptions, biases, etc, and these show up in our
lds...it's onlyl natural, eh? I dealt with those and other barriers
like I do in real life...I examine the problem closely, then I
experiment with diff techniques and find what works. For powerlines, I
remember clearly gliding up to them and inching closer...then, taking
that "3rd party" perspective, I removed my Point of View to a couple
feet in front, turned around and watched as the lines slid into my
dream body and PLOP...after my "skin" gave some hesitation, the lines
went in like fishing line through jelllo...that's the only way I can
describe it really...and after that, I simply eliminated all power
lines whenever I went flying...simple as that, really :)

I -did- have quite an interesting series of lds about LANDING
safely....seemed there was always some obsticle or another that made
me POP out of my ld sometimes to avoid the collision. Fiinally, I had
that one epiphanous (?) moment where I came in "hot" into a forest and
saw I was going to hit a big redwood tree! I forced myself to relax
and when I "hit" the tree, I went through it, eyes opened and saw
every little detaill and molecule as I flew through and out the other
side! Interestingly, as I was half way through, my "eyes" flew into
and through a birds' nest inside a hollowed out part of the lumber and
i distinctly recall scaring the two adult sleepy birds in that 1/10th
second that my "eyes" interurrupted their slumber! Where'd THAT come
   from???!! :)))
   happy floating
