I would suggest asking your subconscious some direct questions.       Plant an idea of what exactly you want in your mind before you go to       sleep. When you reach lucidity, try to remember your goal. Then ask a       dream character, or just say out loud, things such as "I wish to       communicate with my subconscious mind", "I wish to communicate with       myself at the age of 5", "I wish to see what I fear most", "I wish to       see my deepest traumas".. (but be careful, you usually do get what you       ask for, so be ready for some nasty stuff to surface). I'm       practical-minded, and I tend to approach things simplistically. But the       direct approach usually works pretty well for me.              I guess I better emphatize the importance of being ready.. if you       suddenly are faced with something bad, you must not panic. Never submit       to dream monsters! They might try to scare you, hurt you, or even       outsmart you. I believe it's just the different parts of your       personality manifesting to you. Don't let the bad guys win. This has       been said many times, but works wonders: if the dream turns nightmarish       and you need help, call for help out loud! You will find your own inner       strengths this way. Good luck!                     Cheers, KC              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
