I was lying there       visualising different things & playing around with semi-asleep       awareness, one of which was a visualisation of the room I was actually lying       down in... the images were faint and pretty useless really, outlines       at-best, but at one point I noticed that I was viewing the room from a       standing position... and trying to make the situation as real as possible I       thought to myself that perhaps I should be visualising the room from the       pov of the same position I was actually in... to which effect I imagined       myself perceptually rotating through 90° into a horizontal position              Anyway, as soon as I'd done that, I noticed then an undulating wave that       went from the top of my body to the tips of my toes and back again, slowly       growing in strength and rapidity until I suddenly found myself numb + in       a dream apparently lying on a bed in some strange room (prison cell       actually:) but kept absolutely still for-fear of disrupting the lucidity,       and which continued into other lucid dreams until I moved/got-up in one of       them (another story)              point being that right at the beginning of that episode (I was particularly       looking to lucid dream remember) where I felt/noticed I was standing instead       of laying down etc, especially after the 90° rotation, I certainly felt all       those sensations you describe (electrical/whatever, pulsating definitely,       grew so strong there was a complete loss of bodily sensation/breathing       etc) - only I of course went for the lucid dreaming option when presented       with it, and/or turned it into that              + observe that it happens mostly only when lying down on one's right-side?              so yeah let's try it... (think I'm done/cooked on the other side anyway :)              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
