XPost: alt.dreams;       From: mr_cyphre@nospam.yahoo.com              Hello all,              I just thought I'd share this wonderful dream I just had. It all       started when I had to throw a cat out of my girlfriend and I's room       because it likes to get up right at my head and needle on my pillow       (the pillow's very soft). As a result, it was hard for me to get back       to sleep as it always is. I was more successful than usual, however,       because I had been reading Regardie's "The Middle Pillar" before       bedtime, and in the back Chic Cicero had put in some various       exercises, like simple relaxation. I did one of the simple       progressive relaxation exercises instead of taking diphenhydramine       which I often do, and I think the result was a wonderful lucid dream!              The first parts of it seemed to go on and on - it was like an eternity       in there, and I can't remember the exact details. Seems like I was       walking through an empty building at one point and I was just       marvelling at the fact that I had been able to achieve lucidity again       while I looked around and touched everything. Then it seems like I       got sexual with some female dressed in an old medieval-like gown (the       ones with trusses in the back). Come to think of it, a lot of my       lucid dreams turn sexual at one point or another... All this time I       was worried that I was going to miss work because the sense of time       was so expanded!              Finally, here's the good part. I remember seeing my feet planted       firmly on the grass in some field and then looking up at a blue sky       with a few wispy clouds. I then jumped up into the sky and began       flying over the nearby hill. Over that hill, it was like a beach       front. I flew over people who were lying by themselves in shallow       pools of water which were almost more like a goo. As I looked at       them, I was telling myself "These people are trapped like that because       their emotions have trapped them..." As I flew on, I came upon an       absolutely beautiful vista of crystal clear waters and small shallow       caves cut out of rocks which jutted out of the water. Many gorgeous       beings were gracefully floating and flying around this area, as was I.       I was overwhelmed with happiness at just being in this place,       especially conscious. I levitated over to one of the cave openings       and asked one of the beings, a tanned white male with some sort of       orange tattoo on his left shoulder, where I was. He did not answer       this, but did reply very distinctly "I'm Stanley Everett... In       Oregon." I just did an email search for that name, and there does       appear to be a Stan Everett in Georgia, but I hesitate to email       anyone, after thinking about it, to tell them that I had a dream about       them. I don't know... Maybe I should anyway.              I couldn't help but think of the movie "What Dreams May Come" and the       scenes they used to depict the Heaven worlds. When I saw the movie       years ago for the first time, I remember telling someone that I had       seen that place before in dreams. Indeed, this is not the first time       I have been to this place. I think that there is some "objective"       reality to the place from the things I've read and other people's       experiences that I've listened to. Have any of you seen any places       like this in the dream lands? It was absolutely gorgeous!              Dax              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
