Corey. The art I want to do now is of a real person with a real face.
Not a dream. Not a fantasy. No. Full disclosure. I have found a muse. We
shall see if he is willing. I have asked his permission if he could be
my muse. I need a man to be my muse, not a fairy. The castle in the sky
has to do with something else. I am having a hard time getting along
with a certain monk around a certain area inside myself and I am just
going to have to learn to behave myself. I HATE THIS. That one can not
be my muse, thank God. I have my easel and my canvas and my paints and
my photographs. Now we just have to see if the subject is willing. When
painting a portrait of a person, you must not do it against their will.
Oh no. You must ask for a blessing! That is the Orthodox way. To do
EVERYTHING with a blessing, like it or not. Oh boy. Oh brother.
Obedience. That's the way to salvation. Ask if it is ok. I don't have an
ash tray. I don't usually eat in my room. I chose a MacBook and not an
iMac. I need the portability.
