   With False Awakening of course you're still asleep but you dream   
   that you awaken...   
   But I think the original poster may have been referring to   
   *actually being awake* and still dreaming...i've had that happen   
   a few times, but it only lasts for very brief period.   
      
   Basically in my case i wake up and the dream i was having   
   continues (sorta in the background - hard to explain unless   
   you've had it happen) for maybe a minute or so.   
      
   Sorta a cool experiance...plus it can help you figure out what   
   causes some things in dreams
