I have had this experiance many times... in fact it happens to me
almost every time I awaken from lucid dreaming. With me it is almost
like I am still in the dream but things start to become blurry and I am
unable to make big movements etc. I find that if i move any part of my
body other than breathing I become totally awake. For me this is a
great time to try to get back into the previous dream or just dwell on
   what I just did.
