The danger with catagorizing something as an OBE too easily is that it
could also be just a lucid dream. I have this happen frequently. If
you truely believe you are having an OBE you should do some checks to
make sure. Look around your house and see if people are where they
should be i.e. sleeping in their beds. If you check up on these things
and everything is as it should be you should also make one last
obervance. You should find something that you did not know was there
or observe something that your unconcious could not have known would
happen. When you wake up you should clarify that it was a true
obersvation to make sure it was a true OBE. I think a lot of people
make the mistake in thinking that one of their lucid dreams is an OBE.

To fly around if you are unable to simply take off and fly, a lot of
people find it helpful to make your steps "bounce" increasingly high,
almost like you're moonwalking and once you are high enough you should
be able to maintain hight. You may want to keep it a little slow at
first until you get the hang of it but when you get it down it will be
   an unbelievable experiance.
