    I've developed an encrypted diary application (I've been using it to   
   record my dreams) and have recently cleaned it up and made it ready for   
   prime time.   
      
   Features:   
      
   1. Allows styled text with imbedded images (the application can download   
   these from the web).   
      
   2. Indexes word via associative arrays --- this makes it easy to search   
   on words or phrases.   
      
   3. Uses strong encryption (Blowfish).   
      
   4. Is released under the Gnu Copyleft --- it's free with included source   
   code.   
      
   5. Runs under all forms of Unix and Windows.

   Although I originally designed it for recording dreams, it can be used   
   for any kind of diary or notebook. (In windows, you can use it to store   
   passwords --- as with Gringotts under Linux).
