OK near_eyenext. I don't know much about psychic techniques myself, but
here's all the advice I can think of.
First, you say your difficulties landing a job aren't to do with the
recession, but how can you tell? Also, even before the recession set in,
I'd heard of people having four or more failed job interviews in a row, for
no good reason. Many of these people later succeeded in getting the job
they wanted and did very well. So although you would be very unlucky to
have four failed interviews in a row for no reason, it is possible.

If for some reason you decide that it really is some kind of jinx, then I
can't give any advice except to pray as hard as you can. As I said, it
   isn't really my line.

The clairaudience thing bothers me a bit. As far as I know, it shouldn't
carry on when you don't want it to. Do the voices you hear sound real, that
is, could you mistake them for a real person talking? If so, it's possible
that they're simply hallucinations, and in that case you perhaps ought to
get them seen to. They can turn quite nasty sometimes. You could check by
getting them to answer a question you couldn't know the answer to, and
seeing if they get it right - a random hallucination couldn't do that.

Hope this helps. Good luck getting a job.
