Lucky you! I have a corner type standing shower, and am lucky to be able to
rest my foot on a lower alcove / bend my knee, but I enjoy it for being
compact and— succinct, if that makes sense.

$D (or S$):> and only have these charlie horses in the summer because

here, we may get into some alternate theories... :)

$D:> I keep my windows open at night because air conditioning stops my head up
   with sinus problems.

To avoid internal atmosphere from stopping up sinuses, one needs an air
ionizer. These come in different sizes and shapes, so feel free to search the
web to find one that fits your budget, but what you're looking for is the
   volume of negative ions it
puts out per (as in per second, or minute, or hour, likely per second.) These
gadgets cause the air molecules themselves to achieve a "negative ion" charge,
which causes the molecules to attract TO particulates in the air (pollen,
   dust, etc.) and, due
to their heavier weight, they just sink right out of the atmosphere (to the
ground) leaving the air cleaner, as if after a rainstorm.

Once you've got the air cleaned, the AC will only be a comfort issue with
respect to humidity / temperature. However, I must admit, I often crack my
window an inch or two just for the fresh, cool, night air.

$D:> As it cools off here at night, I get cold from just lying on top of my
sheets. Think this is causing my leg problems.

   Two points here:
    1) stretching lightly then relaxing a few times is GREAT for meditation /
going to sleep. The idea is to simply give a light stretch to every muscle /
muscle group you can then relax. While I've not directly noticed it helping
   with OOBEs, it *
definitely* can help one to fall asleep more easily, by reducing all that
tossing and turning to find a comfortable position. The stretch/release
tactic also helps one to fall asleep on one's back.
    2) muscle cramps may be due to a salt imbalance of sorts, or even a
deficiency of magnesium. A simple magnesium pill with dinner should help
   eliminate leg cramps entirely.

   Hope this helps :)
