From: dicksilk@gmail.com              2019/08/20 Tuesday:              Due to binge watching season 8 of Game of Thrones, there've been a few       sleeping pattern disruptions, like falling asleep on the couch around 12:30 AM       until around 2 AM, then watching until 6 AM, and falling asleep again until 10       AM (all times *extremely*        approximate.) At any rate, this post is about what happened between 6 AM and       waking:              GoT had a phrase that caught my attention, and I tried to meditate some on       it: "Love is more powerful than reason." That requires a bit of       contemplation: When love is more powerful than reason, something seemingly       illogical may occur, from insanity to        miracles. Yet when reason is more powerful than love, something seemingly       devoid of emotion may occur, such as the slaughter of the innocents       ( wikipedia.org/wiki/Massacre_of_the_Innocents ).              Another thing I'd watched before falling asleep last night involved the series       "Chernobyl" (which is FASCINATING in its realism!) which brought to mind the       atomic pile of rubble at the power plant, which will remain radioactive /       lethal for around 24,000        years. When I started contemplating this, I saw a churning image, not unlike       the pattern of smoke or fog (a swirling vortex) around a wingtip of a bird or       plane.              Meanwhile, a dream with an astral-type feel came around later: I was outside       in a large yard or field near a home, looking up at the sky, and seeing a       dragon-like image in the air. Although it was dragon-shaped, I immediately       labeled it as an ultra-       light aircraft in my mind, and it flew nearer where I was standing. I even       attempted a shout, "Yo!" toward the pilot, who also shouted back a type of       "Yo!" in reply, along with something else, but the distance made the message a       bit difficult to hear,        let alone understand. I made a motion for him to land, and here it gets a bit       fuzzy in recall: EITHER he a) did a touch and go landing where he touched       down then lifted right off again, or b) he didn't. I know, it's funny that I       can't recall if this        actually occurred or not. I do, however, recall his waving back as if waving       off a landing.              There were a few other, less visual / possibly less important, short clips,       but they don't come to mind and I'm DRAGGING from lack of sleep / wanting       another nap, so goodbye for now.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
