From: dicksilk@gmail.com              2019/09/25 Wednesday:              Last night I seem to recall being awakened only once (early this morning,       before dawn) to let the dog out. Had one dream segment that I recall, then a       sleep segment during the early morning while the robot sweeper was running,       whereupon a had a FEW        segments!              Starting with the first batch:              The Dreamer (I) was in a place much like Africa, only a civilized area such as       an urban region rather than a jungle or rainforest. There was a building       resembling a shop / garage but it was shut. A man was inside (African /       Nigerian, possibly Muslim,        but with a definite sense of cyberphisher / hacker / hustler / bad guy) who       seemed afraid to come out and meet me. Of course, the dreamer was holding a       rather large, forged link chain in his left hand, the kind that could be used       for mooring barges (a        single link was a good 1" to 3" in size, and the length was about 3'-4' long)       but it was hung upon a nail on the door frame so as to keep it steady, no       swinging. The dreamer was attempting to lure the man outside with words using       a tone that was        soothing calm: I actually felt peaceful, as if I were somehow divinely       protected against harm. Two persons were seen creeping around the dreamer's       backside, either to watch or attack, but the dreamer was not even remotely       concerned with them, barely        noting their presence. He was more directly focused upon reaching the man       huddled up / barricaded inside, who nervously claimed, "You've got a big chain       with you!"              "It's pinned to the door. See for yourself," meaning it was only there for       defense purposes only. The dream ended, but I woke up still feeling that       sense of calm peace and strength, quite remarkable! √              As the floor roomba robot was doing its thang, I fell back asleep and dreamt       my brother had arrived in town from Florida, only he'd traveled by way of a       U-Haul van with a hot air balloon attachment on top, such that he actually       floated from Florida to        Tennessee on prevailing winds, although there WAS a propeller attached to the       rear to give him some directionality and speed. We were driving around town       (I was in the passenger seat) and considering where he might park it, as (in       the dream) I had a        storage shed that would work well for the purpose. There was a scene where we       drove under a low awning, which I wondered that it may have jiggled the       balloon a bit, but apparently all was still intact.              To be clear, I didn't have any recollection of being in the Uhaul truck (NOT       van or larger size, this was like a Ford F-350 size. I recall wanting to know       how it felt FLYING in that thing, it looked so cool!)              The final dream before waking involved letting the dog out the FRONT door to       chase a squirrel sitting in the middle of the front yard, but the dog didn't       seem to want to give chase (which is VERY unusual for the dog) AND the front       door was different: It        was composed of a yellowish-beige metal door much like an average, wooden,       interior passage door, but with no knob to speak of. In fact, there was a       thicker section that seemed to have come off, roughly 3' high, 3' wide, and a       half-foot thick.        Apparently it was a locking / blocking type mechanism that somehow attached to       the door blank (electromagnetically was my first thought, but I didn't want to       rule out nuts and bolts.) I figured that by moving it in front of the front       door, the door        could then either be opened or locked shut. Dream ended.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
