2019/09/26 Thursday: I had a number of dreams, but will try to focus on this
   one before I totally forget:

IN real life (IRL) I had an acquaintance in high school whom I'll simply refer
to here by his initials, DJR, because he's currently in jail (35-40 years
later) for sex-related crimes involving at least one minor (possibly something
   to do with kiddie porn)
but back then (in high school) he was mostly into politics and war games.
Also, back around 1992, IRL, he hooked up with a younger bit of (sorry to say
this, but) "trailer trash" from Kentucky, had a baby girl, and took up smoking
   AND theft (but I
never pressed charges because I discovered it a few weeks later and really had
zero evidence. Besides, if he had to resort to theft to provide for his baby
   girl, then so be it.)

Meanwhile, in this dream, I find myself in a rather large area, fairly white
background luminescence, perhaps 30' deep by 15' wide, although I wasn't
actually paying attention. In this room there's a computer flat-screen that
verges upon the size of a
large flat-screen TV, with something on it akin to Star Wars ships similar to
the Empire's TIE fighters in Star Wars (denofgeek.com/us/movies/
tar-wars/251968/star-wars-best-spaceships) with the underlying concept that it
   represented a video combat space
   game of some sort.

So in this dream, there's a bit of dialogue, running something like this, me
   speaking first:

"So here we are again, smoking and finding ourselves in a pile of ashes"
(there was cigarette ash all OVER the place.) DJR had some sort of
demonstration he was trying to pull, with one sheet of paper, upright, about
8" or so in front of another sheet
of paper, also upright, with the idea that somehow an air column could be
drawn from behind the first (rear) sheet, through the 2nd (forward) sheet, and
through a cigarette in front of it. I seem to have had a cigarette in my hand
   as well, but wasn't
much thrilled or drawn to the idea of smoking it (I've broken the smoking
habit now, twice, and will never pick one up again.) There also seemed to be
a very tiny, twisted joint involved, not much more than perhaps an inch in
   length, and about the
diameter of 1/8th"— I mean, "pin joint" doesn't even begin to describe this
thing. What it's purpose was in the dream I can't figure out, as I don't
recall either of us smoking it in the dream.

He made some type of comment regarding the display on the screen, that I could
have it if I wanted it, but it needed to be uninstalled first in order to be
shared. I know from experience that this is NOT a good way AT ALL to share a
   game. Sharing works
*best* if one has an installation CD or zip file.

The dream seemed to end with my dubious attitude at attempting to uninstall
his game. It really didn't appeal to me that much, as it mostly represented a
   time distraction.

There was one other item at the end of the dream that caught my attention, and
this one has me rather puzzled: There was a small fish-prawn, about the size
of a very large minnow, but with legs on its underside like shrimp / prawns.
   Not only was there
one of these, but two of them, and I couldn't understand (AT ALL) what they
were about within the dream: one seemed semi-real, and one seemed more like a
"thought form" (or cartoon version) of the "real" version. The dream actually
   ended on this note,
although how this dream had two endings, I can't exactly explain, unless there
was some type of overlap in a time stream.

There was some other dream (earlier) involving a pet dog or such, and I
honestly can't recall any of it, other than having something to do with the
   animal's loyalty.
