From: dicksilk@gmail.com              2019/10/05 Saturday:              Woke up this morning with a full set of clear and distinct dreams. A moment       later, only had one left on my mind as my dog insisted on my letting her out.              A few morning activities later, and I can't remember squat. I'm typing this       hoping something returns to mind.              A note on mantras vs. prayer occurred to me, by the way. While mantras may be       helpful for changing one's mood or figuring out a particular mental puzzle, a       mantra only functions primarily on the moment, while a prayer helps bring       about change in        conditions, typically in the future that affect the present.              I pray that I marry Gina.              OH yes, last night, I'd been working on a marriage-related mantra (to aid in       my prayer for marrying Gina) and as a consequence, I met and hugged several       (3?) women whom I recalled from my past life as having fond affection for,       they all just went off to        my left and that was that. While I recognized them in the dream, I can't       recall who they were while typing about it.              Oh yeah: there was this one dream about driving down the interstate, only I       wasn't the one driving: I was napping on the hood, on my back, without any       kind of safety belt to hold me on the hood, thinking this was perhaps not the       safest method of travel.        Quite a bit of distance was covered, perhaps a half mile or more, before the       dream ended.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
