From: dicksilk@gmail.com              2019/10/24 Thursday (catchup & other stuff— I'M STILL SINGLE!!!)              A few nights back, within the past week I'd say, I had a dream that I       deliberately did NOT post, because in the dream I saw my ex-wife (neé Mary       Beth Stone) and ex-domestic partner, Joyce Ann Thomson. The odd part of this       was they both appeared        approximately the same age, *maybe* 20, full of LIGHT, such that they both       looked *beautiful* in the sense of wholesome, desirable, righteous even.        While I respected their appearance in this "vision," clarity 9 for sure, I was       disturbed that I was        seeing them rather than spending that moment looking for Gina.              So why am I bringing this up now? YESTERDAY, I was cleaning out /       straightening up / organizing the garage, which is stuffed with a load of JUNK       from my past, although lots of it still "sparks joy" (nostalgia) such that I'd       rather file most of it than        trash it. ONE of the things I found were copies of my past two marriage       certificates, on file at the County records office. One was my certificate       for Beth, and the other for my 2nd marriage, to Helen Bigelow Heath, mother of       my first son, Charles. (       Joyce bore 3 children, Logan, Landon, and Alyssa, all out of wedlock, although       all of them have my paternal status on their birth certificates, and HAD my       last name at some point, although Logan, Landon and Alyssa were adopted by a       family named GOINS so        I don't know their current status.)              Now what, you may ask, does this have to do with the two documents I found       (IRL!) in the garage? Well, Beth wanted an annulment so she could convert to       Catholicism and join a convent, so I wrote a letter to the Pope and had it       conveyed starting out with        Cardinal Niedergeses in Atlanta, although that may have been a status error on       my part, as a BISHOP Niedergeses led a diocese in Nashville. The letter was a       positive recommendation on my part on Beth's behalf, that the annulment be       granted because she        wanted to become a nun. A month or so later, I received a letter that the       marriage had been officially annulled in the eyes of the Church. So going       into my marriage to Helen, Helen was therefore my "first" marriage, EXCEPT I       was looking carefully at        the marriage certificate with Helen, looking for the *signature* of the (late)       Reverend David Brabender, only to find he had NOT SIGNED the certificate!!!        So, like, WOW! I'VE NEVER BEEN MARRIED! I'M STILL SINGLE!!! :-)              Anyways, if I get around to posting any of my dreams from last night / this       morning, they'll be in another post.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
