|    2019/11/06 Wednesday: Lit Fuse?    |

From: dicksilk@gmail.com              2019/11/06 Wednesday: Lit Fuse?              Was working on my FaceBook notifications just a moment ago, when I ran across       a post dealing with the upcoming Trump Middle-East Peace Plan and how it will       allow Israel to rebuild the temple, which will light the fuse to Armageddon.        OK, so that's a        conscious, waking post on a rather deeply symbolic concept (the Apocalypse)       but it reminded me of a dream I had earlier this morning, prior to the last       dream before waking.              It wasn't so much a dream as it was an image of how one could use a timer       device to ignite an incendiary device: One would have to use the wire between       the circuit board and the speaker, or create a break in such a circuit, so       that when the speaker goes        off, it creates a *very* tiny spark (and of course, such a device would       require testing to ensure reliability and reproducibility.) The *tiny* spark       would have to have a gunpowder type fuse adjacent to it, such that the tiny       spark would actually lite a        grain of gunpowder embedded in the fuse. That fuse would have to lead to a       larger charge. The "fuse" was held in place at the break in the speaker wire       circuit by means of a simple piece of scotch tape. Now, I don't go around       building bombs, so        perhaps this is a juvenile approach, but *symbolically* it represents how a       series of plans *without insulation* could lead to a series of events that       touch off a powder keg in the Middle East, namely, igniting the entire Muslim       world in jihad, resulting        in nuclear war (thanks to Iran's current efforts.)              In another dream (the one before waking) I was in the attic of a house, with       at least two 2x4 boards of about a yard in length, each. There was an obvious       fit for how the first one was to be placed *up in the roof rafters* (the       "joists" are the level        beams that form the ceiling support, or the "floor" of an attic.)              The important point here is that I wasn't the one doing the work. There was a       woman present, perhaps in her 30s or 40s, who placed the first board in place       as it was so obvious. But what was this building? (It seemed like a home.)       And what was the        purpose of the boards/beams going up into the rafters? (It seemed       construction-oriented, at any rate.) "I" (the dreamer) was lying upon my       back, practically asleep, feeling the weight of sleep at any rate, directing       her as to how and where to place the        2nd board, which is where things get interesting.              There was a "drawing" of sorts on the plywood forming the roofing across the       rafters. In my mind, it made it perfectly clear where the next board was       supposed to fit, only the woman was fitting the short board (like a 2x4 of       about 3' in length) into the        joists that comprise the floor, which actually had a cutout to allow the short       board to fit in it, although a hammer of sorts would be required to pound the       board into the slot. I "got up" and showed the woman the drawing, and how the       board was supposed        to fit along the *rafters*, NOT across the joists (although the directional       alignment was the same.) Part of showing her the drawing involved somehow       casting the shadow of an open wrench (a box wrench is like a circular 8- or       12-star pattern) over the "       point" in the diagram showing where the short board was to fit. Although the       dream was ending at this point, I *seem* to recall fitting the short board       into place, though I can't recall exactly *doing* it.              There's another dream in the back of my mind, but I can't recall it at this       time.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
