This reminds me that there was at least one dream recently involving either a
tobacco or other adult-oriented product (a drug? liquor?) that I've not posted
as one of those dreams that "evaporated." I can distinctly recall one dream
   where the guy
serving said, "I suppose you'll want water, right?" I have a *suspicion* that
the things we refuse within dreams are those we're prone to refuse in real
life, or at least they're made easier to refuse in real life if one can refuse
   that thing within a
   dream.

only to discover that the lower half has been peeled off. The lower half of
the phone looks like paper torn off along with the numbers. This shocks me in
   my dream and I wake
   up.

You know the 5-G networks are out now, right? I once had to trade in my old
2G phone to get a 3G because the network stated they were upgrading and the 2G
was being phased OUT. That was the SECOND time I've had a cellphone outdated
   on me.
